Leap is non-custodial. It means that you are truly the owner and you hold your own assets. But this also comes with a bit of responsibility. You and you alone are responsible for safekeeping your wallet.

Making sure your private key i.e Seed Phrase remains private is your responsibility as it grants you control over everything inside of a wallet. Note it down in the correct order and store it in a folder or on a physical paper which you could keep in a safe & accessible place.

If, in any case, you lose your wallet's seed phrase, there's no way of recovering access to the wallet. There is not a ‘forgot seed phrase’ option and even Leap doesn't know your seed phrase, so we can't retrieve it for you either.
