What you will do at Leap:

• Backend development: You will be owning backend features that support all our platforms (extension and mobile apps). You will also play an important role in architecting our backend infrastructure required to scale Leap to 1m users.
• Interacting with users: You will be interacting directly with end-users via community platforms like Discord, telegram, twitter. Supporting them and collecting feedback to inform the direction of the product.
• New initiatives and protocols: You will be communicating with the development teams behind most of the up and coming protocols in the web3 ecosystem. Building relationships with the teams and integrating with their systems on Leap.

Who you are**:**

• You have 2**+ years of experience building** backend APIs and services at a technology company and have a track record of delivering apps with a robust and reliable backend infrastructure. (preferably blockchain-related)
• 2**+ years** of experience and proficiency in modern JavaScript and Typescript development. Experience with NodeJS / Express is strongly recommended.
• You are comfortable deploying apps to App Store and Play Store.
• You have experience developing and using design systems like Figma, Canva and others
• You are enthusiastic when it comes to open projects and building with community.

Bonus points**:**

• Experience working with PostgreSQL and Redis.
• Experience with CI/CD for mobile apps and automated testing integrations
• Experience working on blockchains or fintech space
• Experience with being an early engineer in your previous gigs
